The New Jersey Children’s Writer’s Guild

NJCWG would like to congratulate Guild member Patti Hutchison on her publication in the Humpty Dumpty Magazine’s January/February issue!

Patti’s article entitled “Is Your Cat Happy?” invites children to explore what a cat’s body language and behavior may be telling us.  

Patti was a special education teacher for 25 years, but is now pursuing a career in writing for children.  Currently, she and her husband live in South Carolina, are the proud parents of three great kids and grandparents of five wonderful grandchildren.  She presently works for the educational website edHelper.com writing poetry units, reading comprehensions in science, life skills, study skills, and creative writing starters.  She has also published various plays inspired by short stories for ABCteach.com.
